SQL Data Analyst to Insight Strategist

This unique role offers an individual with a strong background in advanced data analytics but who is interested in working in more strategic insight projects. The role will require an individual to take charge of heavy data mining initially for a newly built datawarehouse in order to develop a Data framework that will eventually lead to advanced Insight projects in the next few years.

The function although currently small, will become an integral part of bigger projects across the EMEA region in coming years and will thus need someone who still has a very hands-on approach towards the value of deriving and delivering analytics input and strategy for commercial set-ups. The analytics will typically cover advanced methods around a variety of data issues from the application of advanced statistics through to understanding data lifecycles (migration, quality, insight etc)

Suitable profiles should demonstrate a core foundation in some or all of the following:

-An excellent early career in advanced statistics/analytics applying data analysis and modelling approaches for commercial challenges (propensity modelling, logistic regression, data mining etc).

-Advanced SQL skills (essential) for data-driven projects.

-An acute appreciation and value of how various tools can offer value in the above (SAS, SPSS, R, etc).

-The ability to go beyond statistics and data and convert into valuable strategic input (actionable insight?)

-A strong educational background reflecting an early commitment towards advanced analytics.

This offers an excellent platform to become a key player in a nearly phase set-up of the team dynamics and thus will need an individual than can form a tight-knit group culturally as well as technically.
