Retail Analytics Specialist: Tableau: London

A boutique management consulting firm who have built an excellent track record delivering holistic consulting engagements to the Retail sector are expanding their core Retail Analytics Insight team. The role of the Professional Services Consultant will be to act as a subject matter expert on a wide variety of analytics methods that are specific for challenges faced for major retail players in the market. 

Your role will encompass bridging the gap between holistic management consulting through to technical delivery of analytics methods and tools for specific client needs. As a Tableau partner, we are keen to see individuals who have gained a solid foundation in the use of this particular tool and a strong interest in how the Retail, FMCG or CPG sectors are evolving their needs for Advanced Analytics & Insight beyond traditional Insight groups.

Suitable profiles should thus demonstrate the following core competencies:

-An excellent commercial grounding in the application of various analytics and insight skills (retail, FMCG, CPG sectors preferred).

-A strong Consulting calibre to fit between holistic and technical delivery.

-An excellent foundation in data-visualisation using Tableau (other platforms such as Qlikview may be considered but samples must be provided).

A strong educational background within a mathematical subject to demonstrate the ability to learn new statistical/analytical techniques to apply into the role.
